You would be difficult pressed to locate any construction much more metaphorical than a bridge: constructing bridges unites people, burning them creates division. There is a bridge more than troubled h2o, and h2o underneath the bridge. The same bridge that links a town to its homeland nowadays may also reduce it off tomorrow. Time is the bridge amongst now and then. And so it goes.
